Hi,

Is anyone familiar with the details of the ticket prices for the Trans Siberian Railway. Some people are telling me it's more expensive if you break the trip into several sections, but I'd like to make longer stops in Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk etc. and get all the way to Vladivostok in the end. Does that make the ticket much much much more expensive or is it still bearable?

Thanks.

Hey there! Why don't you go to Ulaan Bataar and Beijing instead of Vladivostok. It's much more fun...

Are you accusing me of something?

Good idea, but I've been to Beijing already.....

Actually, my ideal trip would include both Mongolia and Vladivostok, but that's too much to ask.

Any info on the section prices?

http://www.seat61.com/Trans-Siberian.htm and http://www.trainsrussia.com/en/travels/search are worth a look... you might find there the information you need...
