Receiving almost 40 million of international travellers every year Britain is the 6th most visited country in the
world. Whereas its capital,
London - drawing some 16 million tourists annually - claims to be world's most sought after
tourist destination. So what's the secret?
British climate is notoriously unreliable and set to spoil just about every outdoor effort. Apart from that
British cuisine is not exactly one of kingdom's fortes and the island is not famous for being a bargain destination either - both
accommodation and transport are less affordable and more rudimentary
than across the Chanel. Moreover, when
