Baltimore Wooden Boat Festival celebrates the traditional timber sailing boats of Ireland, particularly those of West Cork. It is held annually in May, and has been taking place since 2002. The festival celebrates the revival of traditional boat building and seeks to encourage local interest in traditional timber boats as well as connect the local community of wooden boat lovers to others in the coastal regions of Ireland.
Bandon Music Festival is one of Ireland's premier summer music festivals, and a must for all those interested in Irish bands, both new and internationally established. Featuring the best of traditional and contemporary Irish music, the festival events are free of charge. The festival takes place in Bandon over a weekend in May/June.

Taking place in July in various parts of this historic town, including the harbour, the street, boats, churches and any unused spaces, the festival features visual arts, theatre, music, film, architecture, literature, dance and family entertainment.
The annual week-long Youghal Visual Arts Festival takes place in July in and around the town of Youghal. Organised by Youghal-based artists and featuring numerous exhibitions and artist led workshops, the festival is aimed at promoting art in Youghal as well as introducing quality art to the citizens.
This famous festival is held annually in August at Bantry House and features performances by both Irish and international musicians. The West Cork Chamber Music Festival has been taking place since 1995, introducing masterclass musicians to local audiences, and serving to promote classical and traditional music in West Cork area.
The Midleton Food & Drink Festival, also known as "The Feast of the East", is held over two days in September. Visitors can sample authentic local food products, as well as flavours from all over the world; the range of foodstuffs available for tasting includes sauces, cakes, coffee, cheese, preserves, pancakes, smoothies, yoghurt and many others. Apart from a rich variety of food, the festival also features street entertainment in the form of puppet shows, balloon artists, face painting, juggling and music.
Guinness Jazz Festival is an international jazz festival that takes place in Cork every October and features notable jazz artists from around the world. The concerts take place in dozens of venues across the city, and the festival also features numerous fringe events as well.
Usually held in the second week of October, the Corona Cork Film Festival features national and international big budget and independent films, documentaries as well as short films. Apart from the film screenings, the festival events also include exhibitions, book launches, workshops and parties.

It is held in October in the "culinary capital of Ireland", as Kinsale is known, and numerous restaurants and hotels participate in the event. Tastings, dinners and parties are combined with music and entertainment to provide the visitors of the festival a unique gourmet experience.
